Houston Vending Machine Launch

HOUSTON, April 12, 2021 — BlueBox is bringing its automated retail platform to Houston. Starting April 12, BlueBox will begin bringing the first 25 of 200 smart convenience machines online in the greater Houston area. The Houston vending machine fleet will be comprised mainly of Mars branded machines placed in public areas.

Some of these locations include Baseball USA, Katy Mills Mall, the Friendswood Public Library and Galveston area hotels. BlueBox will continue to expand their machine network across Texas, bringing smart convenience to residential buildings, commercial and government offices, gyms, hotels and manufacturing sites.

These autonomous retail machines offer customers retail items when and where they need them most, while offering brands, like global partner Mars, a digital out-of-home (DOOH) media and point of sale (POS) platform. The machines also offer mobile shopping options and data linking advertising and POS.

BlueBox expects the majority of the 200 Houston vending machines to be placed and online by May 15, 2021. Additional machines placements will be added throughout the year in Houston, the state of Texas and across the nation.
